Katie Glaskin is a West Australian painter, printmaker, and anthropologist. Primarily a landscape painter with a strong interest in the aesthetic effects of colour and light, she has more recently discovered the joys of printmaking and is a member of the Swan River Print Studio based at Goolagatup Heathcote in Melville. Her work has strongly environmental themes. Katie has lived and worked in many parts of Australia as well as in India, Nepal, Israel and Japan.
Goolugatup's five heritage buildings accommodate dozens of professional artists, not-for-profits, and creative small businesses.
