Jo Darvall

For Jo Darvall, art and storytelling are intrinsically linked. She aims to explore and celebrate the creative lives of female artists, highlighting their struggle and personal commitment to be creative. An award winning artist Jo received funding from the Department of Culture and the Arts in 2016 and 2017 to stage her exhibitions: Reckless Romantics at Melbourneā€™s Sagra Gallery and All that is Changing at the Australian High Commission, Singapore. Her artwork features in Art Bank, Holmes a Court, WA Water Corporation, Perth Crown Towers, WA Childrenā€™s Hospital and Credit Suisse collections in Australia, and many other international collections. Jo is a founding member of the Swan River Print Studio which is located on-site.

Goolugatup Heathcote is located on the shores of the Derbal Yerrigan, in the suburb of Applecross, just south of the centre of Boorloo Perth, WA. It is 10 minute drive from the CBD, the closest train station is Canning Bridge, and the closest bus route the 148.

Accessibility and amenities

The Gallery is open 10-4 weekdays, 12-4 weekends, and closed public holidays. The grounds are open 24/7.
